Empties #2

Wee another empties post! I only started these last month and now really enjoy collecting what I'm about to toss to give a final word... Click the jump to read on friends!

Elizabeth Arden Blue Mascara - oh how I loved thee color and the natural definition but thee gave no volume...
Murad Perfecting Day Cream SPF30  - loved this, it was moisturizing and gave sun protection without too much glow. Demi-matte finish. Worked well under makeup.
Julep Liquid Eyeshadow: Pale Beige - you need to have perfectly smooth eyelids to use this... on me it highlighted every tiny wrinkle/imperfection on my lids, was difficult to blend, and overall awful. This isn't empty I'm just chucking...

Benefit Posie Balm - terrible scent, couldn't stand it after awhile so am chucking after only using up half
Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Lotion SPF15 - watery non-greasy moisturizer, absorbs fast. Minimal shine. I prefer a higher SPF usually but otherwise this is a good solid product. Nothing overly stood out though...
Julep Luxe Lip Treatment - feels moisturizing and gives nice gloss going on, but unfortunately feels dry after an hr or so and needs to be reapplied. I can't be reapplying every hr... metal tip felt nice but overall product isn't that great. Time to say bye.
Beauty Treats Makeup Remover Wipes: Aloe - smelled good, did a good job on the face but not on waterproof eye makeup. Dried me out a little too. Ended up using it to wipe my hands after applying complexion products or taking off swatches.

That's all for now... let me know if you have tried any of these and what you thought!

  1. surprised to see there is a terrible scent with Benefit posie balm. Usually Benefit products don't have a strong scent. Guess I can skip trying this as bad scents really turn me off.

    1. It's this floral-chemical scent, not only too strong for me but also I found it tasted terrible if I accidentally get a bit inside my lips. I think I got more and more sensitive to it overtime :(
